I just submitted my complete final draft to my advisor and second reader for their final review.
The title is:
The Church as the Locus of Desire for God:
Towards a Mimetic Ecclesiology
It is 120 pages long, including front matter and bibliography.
I do not have to defend my thesis, but I will be having a defense-like conversation with my advisor and second reader a few days before graduation.
If any of my readers are interested in receiving a final copy, or, if in the Baltimore area, in attending the non-defense conversation, please do let me know.
I am going to go clean up the exploded library decor now… in between happy dances. 🙂
Congratulations! I’m still writing my graduation thesis and the post is so motivating for me. Thanks.
Thanks! Good luck with your thesis — what are you writing on?
I found the advice of the Thesis Whisperer very helpful.
Mine is about EFL teacher identity in Turkey. I know Thesis Whisperer, it’s awesome. Thanks. 🙂

Hi! This post is coming some 8 years after yours. Lol!
Please, I’d love to have a copy of your thesis. I’m currently in seminary, and I’m exploring for my thesis the idea of the Church as a Nation as Peter used the word “nation” in 1 Peter 2.9. Is your thesis published, or can I access a soft copy? Thanks.
